this super awesome bit of fanart: got me thinking about an older, just-for-funsies AU idea I had. VovanPetuh's design for a StormyPeachy bab was so dang pretty I just had to doodle some art of him (although I did opt to make him a pegasus)

Stormy and Peachy Keen had a fun summer fling once, during the few months where Aerostorm worked on Sweet Apple Acres to save up to travel Equestria. In this AU, their fling results in an accidental pregnancy, and eventually a teeny, fluffy foal. This either results in 1) Peachy/stormy shotgun wedding (where once they sort themselves out, they do end up a loving, happy family), or 2) Peachy and Stormy decide to raise their oopsie baby as just friends, meaning that eventually Bruce gets roped into Stormy's single dad adventures as the sharknado boys' friendship evolves into courtship
This doodle dump showcases option 2. Stormy and Peachy are good friends, and Stormy did live with her for a while to co-parent baby Sunny, but they're just friends, and definitely not getting married anytime soon. They just share custody of their fluffy bab. Sorry, Big Mac. :/ (He's now equally suspicious of this new "Princess Skyla" pokin her nose around the farm…)

Stormy is a single dad when he runs into his old school friend, Bruce. I see Bruce getting roped into family times with his best bro and his adorable fluffy hot mess of a foal that Bruce falls in love with as he's falling in love with Stormy. Eventually, slowly, he stops being "uncle Brucie" and becomes a second dad to the foal. Stepdad!Bruce adventures….hes still overprotective af even as tiny Sunny grows as gargantuan as his Ma.
Also, I see Bruce and Stormy eventually giving lil Sunny" a little sibling, in the form of a teeny temperamental baby Wave Rider. Sunny was so ridiculously excited to be a big brother they probably bounced and fluttered all over the hospital room

also in the future, gigantic adult! Sunny being so overprotective of baby Finnie you don't even know
Finnie: teeny baby yawn as he curls up on big brother's giant hoof for nappy times

Sunny: doesn't so much as twitch for three hours and sniffles over how precious his baby brother is
