A follow-up to my Day 7 pic:
Needless to say, Maya was not successful. But landing safely is always the first goal when skydiving, and you have to admire Maya's nerve not breaking in this situation. Now she's getting a well-deserved yelling-at by Sadie. And then they get to figure out where to find a rigger to repack Maya's reserve, here in magic pony land…
Hey, maybe that's how they meet Patch and Windy…
(BTW: "A.A.D." means Automatic Activation Device — a device that will open a skydiver's reserve parachute for them if they're still falling fast when they're too close to the ground.)
