Feather: knocks on Storm’s bedroom door “Sis? Can I come in?”
Storm: (muffled) “Nnnnngggghhh”
Feather: comes in anyway “I brought blueberry pancakes. Your favorite!”
Storm: keeps her face buried in her pillow and doesn’t respond
Feather: “You’re not even going to say hello? Come on, this isn’t like you.”
Storm: lifts her head to reveal bloodshot eyes and a tear- and snot-stained face
Feather: “Are you crying?”
Storm: sniffles “No.”
Feather: “Come on, sis. You can’t lie to me.” hands her a tissue
Storm: reluctantly takes it, then proceeds to dry her eyes and blow her nose
Feather: “Feel better?”
Storm: flops back into her pillow
Feather: “Storm, you’ve been locked up in here for over a month. Ever since you broke up with Firework. You can’t keep living like this.”
Storm: “My life is ruined anyway…”
Feather: “No, sis, it’s not. I’m not going to let you waste your life away moping over what could have been. It’s not good for you OR them.” pats Storm’s belly
Storm: “I don’t care. Just leave me alone.”
Feather: “You need to at least figure out what you’ll do. You have two foals growing inside of you. Whatever you do will affect all three of you.”
Storm: “I don’t wanna be a mom…”
Feather: “And you don’t have to be. You have a choice, you know. You can give them up for adoption instead. Hay, you could even get an abortion. Raising foals is a big responsibility and nopony should force you to do it. I’ll support whatever you do, but you HAVE to make a decision. Understand?”
Storm: grumbles “I’ll let somepony else take the little brats.”
Feather: “Alright, if that’s what you want to do. We’ll even pick out the new parents together. You know, I’ve heard Dumbbell and Hoops next door have been wanting to adopt for awhile now. We could go talk to them.”
Storm: “Sure. You can go talk to them and sign the deal for me.”
Feather: “Not so fast! You’re the foals’ birth mother. You have to be the one to arrange the adoption. I’ll help you, okay?”
Storm: grumbles and sits up “Fine.”
Feather. “Okay, sis. Eat your pancakes and get yourself ready, because we’re paying the neighbors a visit.”
