Emerald senses that if he wanted to end his career in prostitution now would be the proper time to talk about it. It's not that he's against it per say, but is this what he wants to continue to do? To sell his body for others pleasure and his own? But Joyride has been good to him after all and has made sure all the clients have paid and not done anything to hurt him and well… he has enjoyed it…

Then there is the question of money. Whoring himself out is faster and would pay more than making potions or risking his life in odd jobs. But what if Ruby discovered what he did? She doesn't know anything about it. How would she feel if she knew?

Either way he needs to say something. If he doesn't end his current service for his mistress then he'll need to think of some clients to choose. the interesting, the exotic, the mundane.
