Emerald contemplates getting some eye shadow from this cosmetic store, maybe some lipstick too. It would certainly help with his disgusing. As they finish up their dinner Emerald asks if maybe the test can be about levitation, or using his new spell that gives him magical sight.

"Yeah, yeah I'll figure it out." Joyride says dismissively.

Emerald asks why a creature that can disguise itself effortlessly like a Changeling would need to hide.

"Because their disguises are partly magical, and can therefore be dispelled. A lot of nicer establishments have security systems with magical suppression abilities. You know, to stop invisible thieves, thieves who turn stuff they want to steal invisible, mind control the shopkeeper, etc.

Emerald then asks if there are any competitions for foals his age he can enter and earn some money.

"Are you sure that is wise? They still have all those wanted posters up after all." Joyride says, raising an eyebrow.

Emerald asks how many rooms are in #304 Coursewalk.

Joyride leans back in her chair again in thought and says,

"I… Am not sure actually. I've never counted them all."
