Description:
Emerald decides that they should get the reason they came here out of the way, and then they can go and explore the promenade after. The colt approaches one of the elderly walkers and asks if he knows of Haiku Sushi. The older stallion says it's a little ways up the walk, and they approach it.
It doesn't look too much different from the other stores from the outside, but the inside is very nicely decorated. He doesn't know too much about furniture, but much of it appears to have an oriental design to it.
Perhaps hearing the two foals enter, a mare comes from the kitchen and leans over the counter.
"Welcome in, and welcome to Haiku Sushi! First timers? Please, feel free to sit anywhere. We are actually not quite ready for business yet. My apologies." The mare says.
"How'd you know we were first timers?" Ruby asks, pointedly.
"We don't get ponies too often. Sushi is more of a… carnivore or omnivore thing. We do have some vegetarian options though!" She answers happily.
Emerald instantly recognizes the mare from the description that Cherry's skull gave, and approaches the mare.
He says that he'll take a strawberry roll and a firecracker roll. Sushi's eyes squint ever so slightly, and then she says,
"My goodness, such odd choices! How'd you know we even had those rolls without looking at a menu?"
Emerald says that someone told him, and that he has very 'discerning tastes'.
Sushi's cheery look still doesn't quite fade, but she doesn't say anything and instead watches the colt. Emerald says in a low whisper that Cherry Chiffon has been killed, and hands over the skull.
"Jeez!" She exclaims, wildly looking everywhere to make sure no one saw. After stuffing the skull into a nearby take-out bag and hiding it under the table she continues in a whisper, "Do you regularly walk around with people's skulls in your pockets? Who are you anyway?"
