Backstory: Bear Hugger lived in Ponyville, close to Sweet Apple Acres with her big family. They were wood cutters and also made old classic wood furniture. Most of her time she would babysit her little siblings as her family worked on cutting and planting trees. Her grandparents would work on the furniture. She didn’t have much time to find her special talent or her destiny. One day, when all three siblings had the worst school day, Bear was there to comfort them immediately. She hugged them and told them everything will be fine. Her comfortness made the three siblings calm down and made them back happy. When the younglings went outside to play, Bear got her Cutie mark! A bear hugging a heart. Meaning she can give comfortness to other’s. The mare ran outside to her family to show her cutie mark….

Years later when Bear doesn’t feel really home anymore in Ponyville, she moved to Canterlot with her nephew, Joe, she started there making donuts for the donut shop. She actually wanted to try it for a year, but that turned into staying in Canterlot forever.
