Page 1041 — Cuddly Abominations

I'm usually the furthest thing from a nitpicker, but one thing that kinda stuck with me from this episode was that Fluttershy's reaction in this moment seemed really underwhelming to me. Like there was a mismatch between the line as written, as voiced, and as animated. But again, not a big fan of nitpicking. Only mentioning it here because it was a part of my thought process for this page (and because I wanted something else to write in the Author's Note).

Anyway, it looks like my multi-group Dusk City Outlaws campaign is coming to a finale. Here's the first half of what might end up being the penultimate session.

DM: And then, in a series of bright flashes… the apples on every tree quadruple in size!!
Applejack: Uh, what? Ah realize Ah'm speakin' too soon, but that don't actually sound that bad…
Rainbow Dash: Quadruple-sized worms?
Applejack: Ah'll give you that.
DM: They also get so heavy that the trees bend over, so low that leaves are touching the field.
Applejack: Yeah, that's not great either… But if we harvest 'em fast enough…
DM: The local squirrels and rabbits immediately rush in to devour the super-sized apples.
Applejack: Aw, c'mon! Now yer just bein' cruel to me.
DM: Another wave of flashing lights occurs. The critters all grow long, horse-like legs, so they can gallop across the fields towards their next meal!
Fluttershy: …! I told you about that nightmare in confidence…!!
