dear mlp,

thank you for everything. when i first stumbled across you back when i was still a little kid, i had no idea that i would carry you with me for 9 more years. i had no idea i would grow up with you. i had no idea that i would go through elementary, middle, and high school with you. i had no idea you would help me through the hardest parts of my life. i had no idea you would lead me to meet so many wonderful people who i'm proud to call my friends. i had no idea you would introduce me to my greatest passion: art. i had no idea your characters and their stories would affect me so much that i would one day cry over them when it all finally came to the end. i had no idea i would ever have to really say goodbye. my seven year old self would have cried at the thought of someday having to let go. my current self didn't change much in that sense.

thank you, mlp, for opening the door to opportunities i may have never known i had if i had never discovered you. thank you for inspiring me. thank you for changing my life. i promise to never forget you, no matter how much time may pass or how old i may get. the things you taught me and the way you inspired me will be something i will never forget.
