When Storm Strike got pregnant as a teenager, she took a year off from attending Cloudsdale High School. She couldn’t balance schoolwork with the constant sickness and exhaustion she felt while pregnant, let alone continue playing sports. But she only planned to leave school until she gave birth, when she would then send the little brats off to their new adoptive family and resume her life as normal.

That obviously didn’t happen.

Storm ended up falling in love with her “little brats” and made a last-minute decision to keep them, which toppled all of her plans to return to school and continue her active, but reckless teenage lifestyle. She didn’t have any time for that between raising two babies and working a minimum-wage job.

Looking back, Storm had few regrets over how she managed the situation she was in. However, one of her biggest regrets remained that she didn’t finish high school. It was like an unfinished responsibility for her, something she’d been putting off but never had the time or willpower to do.

So once her twins flew the nest and she finally had more time on her hooves, she stopped putting it off and went back to finish her last two years of high school and earn her diploma. Along with raising her children and getting into the Wonderbolts, it is one of her proudest accomplishments. It took nearly 20 years, but she did it!
