I’ve been thinking about this all day so I quickly sketched this But I headcanon that growing up, Cheese never really got the love and attention that every child needs.In Manehattan he didn’t have the best living conditions or best family. He was often neglected and forced to stay within a small beat up apartment which didn’t give him the opportunity to socialize with others his age, and when he did, he was too shy to speak to them. His family only supplied him with the necessities (glasses, food, for the most part shelter) and therefore only got the bare minimum if; at all of the physical and emotional attention he needed.Once he left the city, he figured that all the thank you hugs, high fives, praise and slaps on the backs that came from party planning were what he was missing out on. It wasn’t until Pinkie would randomly call him over and cuddle him that he really realized what he was missing from all those years and that he finally has it now
