I was going to do this as an additional drawing for EqD's Fluttershy Day, but I didn't get around to it in time. Maybe this is my contribution to Mermay?

This served as a bit of an experiment with various coloring bits. I drew the scales in the tail with a silver colored pencil rather than my pen, to make it more subtle; also, I tried digitally adding a very slight blue tint to the entire picture. I also joined the fin and the tail instead of drawing them separately.

The division line between human and fish halves is always a little difficult for me. I'm still figuring out how best to draw and color it without using the Disney-style waist fins (I don't really like those), since blending two colors isn't very easy with colored pencils.
