Needless to say, Foehn wasn't expecting a hoofball player the size of a building to walk in for training day.

Here's the little intro between the two!

After the two graduate from their respective schools, Foehn from canterlot, and Sea Side from cloudsdale, they end up working under Foehn's father as weather ponies. Foehn as a trainer/manager, and Sea Side as a simple worker to start out.

Seeing as Foehn was looking to move up in his father's company, it was only a matter of time before his dream became a reality. When he was given the title as a trainer, he wasn't quite as interested in that line of work. His father, believing it was nonsense to think that way about the position, insisted that his son look forward to teaching young ponies of the joy of weather work! Foehn… didn't quite see his enthusiasm, though went along with it.

Foehn was much more interested in the position of manager for the weather factory. Something about it just gave some… umph to it, ya know? So with his new job title and training for it under his belt, he was now subject to the task of training a new hiree. Though, he was floored by the absolute build of the stallion. Though there were ponies who had been the size of the stallion before him, they were veteran employees and were familiar to him. Sea Side? he was the same age as Foehn and nearly twice his size for Celestia's sake!

Sea Side, being fresh to the weather factory, but not to the subject of weather itself, wasn't that hard to train. He enjoyed much of the work he did, even made friends with other coworkers quite easily! He loved his new job and hoped to one day go into the study of weather.

Despite his initial confusion towards the smaller pegasus, Sea Side began to grow fond of his boss. He was fussy, sure, but he was nice when you got to now him! a good friend to say the least!
