The thought of spending a year doing something smaller and more intimate, and away from the public, was an appealing option.

Still surprised, Twilight nevertheless accepted Thunderlane's answer; she had purposefully tricked Trixie into being incarcerated as a little payback for some of their previous conflicts, but held nothing against Thunderlane. Thus, she wrote a note to herself to give Thunderlane very lenient treatment during his stay behind bars, and to pay him triple what was originally owed.
