Only a matter of time before I made another albino character, just because I can. I just like to do that. It is fun.
And gosh I had fun making this one. With lots of help and suggestions from AngryLittleBurd, to get him just right!

This is Prof. Sanguinem, an albino bat pony and an anti-social prick who rather be left alone. Very sensitive to light. He pretty much lives in the medical archives deep below a hospital university, where he function as archivist. Sabotaging the light for his own comfort and to keep other ponies out of 'his territory'. If they need anything from the archives, they can leave a note and I'll find it whenever he feels like it.

He suffers from the blood disease Aplastic Anemia, which means he cannot develop enough blood cells due to corrupted bone marrow. It leaves him in constant fatigue, headaches, shortness of breath and high risk of prolonged infection among the symptoms. A small fever can be dangerous to him. One of the reasons he avoid other ponies, to avoid the germs they carry.
Among treatments he receive blood transfusions when a fitting donor is found. But supplements his diet with blood from butchers and other sources, as some people do consider that to be a great help even if most doctors ain't sure what to think of that.
No he's not a vampire, he doesn't go about and bite other ponies. That's horribly unsanitary, not to mention he's too weak if anypony puts up a fight.

I had fun making this one, very interesting to look up an actual blood disease.
