It's real isn't it? The whole thing. The runes. The fog. Hard Tack. Not being able to trust anyone. Well, except Antoine… Antoine, her fiance… Antoine who said the only way out of this was death. Why did she come here…? Why didn't she listen to his letter? What does she do now?
Coming to her senses, she realizes she is shivering with a cold sweat. She wipes her forehead, and then realizes she is near the orb with the glyphs around it. She slowly walks over to it and shakily traces a hoof along the object. It reveals that the two new dots are still in the same area they were before.
Mulberry thinks she hears something and perks an ear up. It came from outside. Come to think of it, they probably don't know that Mulberry can get into this apartment. Perhaps she can use that to her advantage.
She creeps up to the window, and holding her breath she tries to peer through the drapes without disturbing them.
She sees the big headed ponies outside arguing in whispers while keeping an eye on Antoine's door.
"-could we get that hasn't tried? We brought nearly everyone here when that lunatic locked himself up." the uninjured one says to his compatriot.
"Well who haven't we tried?" the other says in anger through clenched teeth.
"Begonia." He responds shaking his head. "If you want to find a way to make her try, be my guest.
"Well clearly there is some way in, because that mare got inside!." The other says, his voice nearly at a yell.
The other glares at him in anger, and the bandaged one shuts his mouth.
"Look, it's not like she has anywhere to go. There is only one way in and out of that apartment unless she wants to try and jump through a second story window. We'll wait here until morning. Gamble should be awake by then and he'll probably know what to do."
