Ever since she was taught the skill in her psychology class at school, Sweetie Belle has been earning to hypnotize her sister, Rarity, into doing something humorous for her own entertainment. However, every time she asks her older sister, Rarity simply claims that it’d be a waste of effort as she cannot be hypnotized. Sweetie, however, doesn’t believe this in the slightest and continues to ask her sister the same question. Eventually, while the two sisters are having a beach day together, Sweetie again asks her sister if she could hypnotize her, but this time, Rarity (who is down on her knees, deciding which beach towel she wants to use) finally caves and agrees to let her younger sister attempt to hypnotize her, despite remaining doubtful that it will do anything. Delighted by this, Sweetie grabs a gold pocket watch from her beach bag, stands over the still-kneeling Rarity, lowers the watch down to her face, and starts swinging back and forth as she verbally guides Rarity into a trance. At first, Rarity does not feel any different (boasting a bit about how she is right), but as she continues to focus on the swinging watch and Sweetie’s induction, the purple-haired teen starts to feel more and more relaxed as her brilliant mind starts to become emptied of thoughts. After about 10 or so minutes, Sweetie has successfully placed her older sister under her hypnotic control. Wanting to have a little fun with this scenario, Sweetie tells the hypnotized Rarity that when she wakes up, she will act like a cat whenever she hears the word ‘cashmere’, adding that she will go back to normal with no memory of what she was doing when she hears the phrase again. Once the fashionista agrees to this, Sweetie instructs her sister to stand up and remove her sandals. Rarity does so, leaving her standing barefoot in the warm sand….
Once that is done, Sweetie tosses her pocket watch back in her bag and awakens her sister with a finger snap. Upon awakening her trance, Rarity (unable to recall anything from the past few minutes) asks Sweetie what they were just doing, to which the younger sister replies that Rarity was talking about a cashmere sweater that she really likes. Upon hearing her trigger phrase, Rarity collapses onto all fours, looks up at Sweetie with big innocent eyes, and gives a few meows as if to say ‘hello’. Pleased that the hypnosis worked, Sweetie chuckles a bit before saying ‘hello’ back to her cat-minded sister. In response, the hypnotized fashionista crawls over to her younger sibling and starts affectionately rubbing against her leg while purring softly, which Sweetie finds adorable. As she lightly pets Rarity’s back, Sweetie decides to keep her sister in this feral state for a little while longer, debating whether or not to record these events on her phone to show her friends later on……
