Had complete artist's block today, so no New Moon update today. Instead I colored an older drawing of mine, part of my Clover and Hurricane series. While my other drawing was about there first meeting this is a short while later. I figure that when Equestria was still in its founding state, the founders went about to the three tribes capitals to delegate and inform the ponies about there new found peace. On there scheduled trip to the Pegasus capital…it wasn't named so I won't name it… the four founders who couldn't fly were supposed to be flown there by flight carriage. However the carriage was to heavy with all of them so Hurricane volunteered to fly one of them to the city himself. Smart Cookie, being an earth pony stallion in my head, was to heavy for Hurricane to carry, and no one trusted Puddinghead to stay put enough for the Commander to fly safety. That left Platinum and Clover…needless to say Hurricane wound up carrying Clover.
In a time when the tribes were splintered a pony who wasn't a pegasus would never fly…so Hurricane expects Clover to be terrified. Instead she is awe-struck by the thrill of flight and starts asking him questions about flight dynamics and conditions. Hurricane is impressed by this and it is at this point that he starts to fall for the unicorn mare. Clover falls for him a little later under different circumstances.
