From there, their friendship is cemented. When Chryssi falls deathly ill, it is Zuri that helps June retrieve the life-saving plant from the San Palomino Canyons. They encourage each other (in their own unique ways) in their respective talents as they grow and refine them. They ride the waves of adolescence and go through the fantastical hell that is puberty together. They appreciate each other's non-judgmental company and while their conversations do get longer, they often simply do their own thing in the proximity of one other. Obviously, they often get swept up in whatever adventure Athena decides to conjure up for the day. Of course, like any pair of friends, they can argue and hit those rough patches. However, they are usually quite brief, and the two are right back to exploring meadows and canyons side-by-side.
