Mulberry walks out of the bathroom and looks around the bedroom, making sure to check under and between the mattresses, and nothing in the large dressers in the back. Surprisingly enough though this room appears to have not been used for some time it has far newer furniture than she's noticed so far. Or at least, things that have been taken care of a bit better. The mattresses here are still a relatively clean white, though caked in dust. The bedding is still rather firm as well, and are just covered in sheets. There isn't even a pillow.
The dresser is probably from the time period of Birdsong College, but has been clearly repaired and repainted. Inside are several pairs of clean, folded up clothing and robes. Beside this are some fresher looking books, though these are empty. From the way its' arranged, it feels like a display of some kind.
A plaque next to the dresser describes the day of one of the researchers/students. It notes that they would do pretty much nothing but study while they were here, and though the students were primarily here to study magic, they got some general education as well. Apparently they were very highly selective, and there was never more than eight to ten students/researchers here at any one time. The history lesson talks about a seemingly high mortality or disappearance rate, and questions what could have caused this.
Considering what Mulberry has been through, it's probably not hard to guess.
