I don't mean any disrespect or insult to the author and writer of Tirek's Fiendship comic, but I've always found the… juxtaposition, I guess, between Tirek's homeland and the people in it fairly jarring and a bit humorous. It's like they said, okay, Tirek is a villain, so obviously he comes from this desolate wasteland and the castle he lives in with his family has to be black and spiky and evil looking. But then you actually meet the people there, and pretty much all of them are basically decent, aside from Tirek's evil hermit mentor. Even Tirek isn't particularly bad, he's just your typical moody teenager who's all "Whatever Dad, you can't tell me what to do! I'll totally usurp your throne someday!"
Also, I forgot to mention this last time, but as those of you who wish me a happy birthday each year know, I am a Sagittarius. So giving Tirek a bow just seemed natural.
