How could anyone not fall for the carrot butt with her cute little bleps, a lovable clutz but at the same time the bringer of life to many a delicious crop as well as a sometimes reliable delivery pony.

I think RT fell for her absolute charm, you can't be around his loving pegasus and feel down, her joyful presence and resilience is intoxicating to all that come into contact with her. Maybe thats why RT feels like she could fly whilst being around her, despite her being very much grounded as a mudpony XD
