Well, it finally happened. After all these years, Spike ended up with the gal who was there for him all along.

Applejack is a strong woman, there's no sense in even trying to debate that fact. So I wanted her gown to show that strength, and I think it really does (as well as her tomboyish streak). I also realize that wedding rings are traditionally worn on the left hand(s), not the right; but the way AJ's hands are positioned, you wouldn't be able to see her ring if it were on her left. You probably could, but it would be very hard to see.
