Pegasus armor study
I am a fan of armor. And I really like the big full metal medieval armor you see in the show or on great fan art like from EquestriaPrevails. Go check her gallery if you don't know her, she's an amazing artist !

By the way i think pegasi need to be fast and agile if they want to survive a battle. If an heavy armor make them slower, they become easy target and a brocken wing surely means death. They can wear wing blade or wing armor, but how could seriously a creature fly with these ? But wing blade are damn badass B)

So i work on a light armor. The lighter i can. Just head, crest and jugular groove protect. Plus a protection for the hearth around the shoulder. It's pieces of metal on vegetal leather. I'm thinking of what vegetal leather could be. Maybe a mix of different plant fiber.
I had google and mask for protect face from wind and all thing a pegasus can ram…like insects for example 😉
And finally some weapon on hooves. Sort of knife fix on boots. Two nails on the hoof held for the trigger mechanism. The knife is normally folded but with a little movement of hoof, the pegasus can align it with his leg and make a really effective weapon.
