If there was one thing the young River Morganite got from her Mama Rarity, it was her strong appreciation for fashion. She loved looking through her fashion magazines, looking at all the pretty dresses and picking out the ones she liked most. Maybe her Mama would make her some if she asked.

All the models were just as pretty, dainty and skinny ponies with their hooves freshly polished and manes expertly coiffed. They looked nothing like River, who was a pony AND a dragon, but she didn’t think much of it at the time. They were glamorous and beautiful stars and surely the standards to admire and live up to!
