“You know, Twilight, when you said you wanted to spend Sunday together, I probably should’ve guessed that a school library would be involved.” Timber cheekily smiled from his seat as he watched his girlfriend pace from one bookshelf to the next. He almost wondered how such a portly body could even keep up. Perhaps as long as books were involved, she found a way to stay up and active.
“Yeah, sorry about that,” Twilight chuckled nervously as she glanced back at him. “But I just found out yesterday that I needed a couple more books to cross-reference. But it shouldn’t take long at all. In fact, I know exactly where they are… hopefully,” she quietly added.
“No worries. It’s not even noon yet. Besides, I’ve been meaning to finally look around here. There might be some handbooks that could be pretty useful.”
“It still surprises me that you haven’t actually been to this school, even though you’re technically a student,” she acknowledged curiously. Although Twilight had already known that Timber never really had a traditional high school education, it can still be a bit jarring for her to be reminded of that. Maybe it was because it simply conflicted with her own preconceived idea of how homeschooling works.
Timber simply shrugged back. “It is what it is. Everfree does get pretty quiet, but at least I’m never late for an online class.”
After a bit of time searching and chatting, Twilight finally found what she was looking for. “Ah, there they are.” She looked up at a row of books that was just above her reach. “Timber, can I borrow your chair, please?”
“Sure.” He got up and dragged the chair over to Twilight. She placed it justly and began to step on, trying her best to lift her whole body up, all 360+ pounds of it. After an awkwardly brief moment filled with very little progress and slightly audible grunts, Timber decided to intervene. “Do you… uh… need help?” He asked with an offering hand.
“Um… yeah.” Despite trying to keep a straight face, Twilight still felt her chubby cheeks blush with embarrassment. Though she grew more comfortable with her fattening figure, she also couldn’t ignore its many setbacks. That apparently included becoming too heavy and out-of-shape for what should be a very basic task.
Placing a soft hand onto his firm grip, she was able to balance a little better as she heaves herself onto the chair. Timber gritted his teeth and internally groaned from the weight of his heavy girlfriend. Even the chair whined a foreboding creaking sound as Twilight finally finds her footing. “There, that was easy,” Timber breathed with a nervous smile.
“It… sure was,” she said with a slight unease. Twilight shakes it off as she turns her attention back towards the books, “Now, where was I?”
While Twilight kept herself busy, Timber decided to take a look around at a nearby shelf, grabbing himself a couple of books that caught his eye. There was a handbook on hiking trails, a safety guide on forest fires, and for some reason, a book on body-building tips. Lucky for him since exercise has been on his mind lately.
He’s put on a couple dozen pounds in the last couple months alone, which peaked his weight at over 220 pounds. Though he was able to drop down to 197 before visiting Twilight again, it was impossible to keep the extra weight hidden from his family. Every explanation he could think of for his sudden growth just left everyone with more questions than answers.
Though he was pretty content with where his body’s at now, his gain was nothing compared to where Twilight’s at. Nearly doubling her weight since spring, Timber could swear that she was always visibly bigger each time they saw each other. It was about a month and a half since they last met up; she was definitely smaller then. And now, everything about her seemed to have puffed up. Her face, her belly, her butt… especially her butt… looking quite large beneath her tight jeans…
“Uh, Timber, something wrong?”
“Wh- Uh- Nothing!” Timber blushed, realized too late that he’d been staring. “Just… thought you could check these books out for me.”
“Oh, of course,” Twilight blushed back with a knowing smile.
