Happy thanksgiving to everyone who's celebrating it and who's able to celebrate it!
In a vast and open forest of warm-colored trees, with leaves falling anticipating winter, a calm lake fills the valleys, with an abundance of grass and flowers nearby. As Pinkie takes a long and relaxing look at the scenery and at the sunset, she lies down taking it all in.
Even though things may be different this year, I hope that you all enjoy this art all the same and still have as good of a Thanksgiving today as you can. This took me about 8 hours 43 minutes to render and about a week to plan and make, including making the trees in the background using the tree generator program TreeIt, making the lake water look nice and shiny in the sunlight, and making a few variants of grass and flowers. The sky was made using a combination of an existing HDR from Super Mario Galaxy 2 (credit to Nintendo for the original sky model) and the new sky texture in Blender 2.90.
