Description:

If there's one pony who truly hated Hearth's Warming it is this gloomy taskmaster of a teacher — Professor Flintheart. The name definitely fits. He has a heart as black and with rough edges like a flint. Although he was a fictional character in the world of My Little Pony, he was nonetheless a bad influence. He thought that Hearth's Warming was a waste of time, and that doing hardwork and studying was the most important thing anypony should do every 365 days. When young Snowfrost Fall tried to decorate the classroom, the sour Flintheart found this intolerable. Believing that in order to become a powerful Unicorn, he found her "frivolous" activities poisonous to her studies. And what's more, he thought that the origin of Hearth's Warming was "just a story we tell little ponies." It was when he harshly gave her the choice to spend her time learning to become a powerful unicorn or "play with your toys and make nothing of yourself," that turned sweet little Snowfrost into the Ebenezer Scrooge character in the first place. What a terrible teacher.

Well, I'm uploading Christmas/Hearth's Warming themed art. I know this shouldn't be the first thing to submit for the upcoming holiday, but I actually found this flint-hearted charater fascinating. If you noticed, he's the only character in the story who is NOT represented by anypony in the show. And I know he looks like a pony version of Professor Severus Snape from Harry Potter. It really adds to his disquieting and dismally domineering character. Anyway, I would've uploaded someone else, but I didn't have the time and I was distracted with this. Do not worry, I'll see if I can upload more cheerful holiday-themed art before the big 25 arrives.
