Info: Permafrost was brought to Maud as a new-born by Trixie. Trixie was too ashamed to ask Starlight for help. After all, Starlight was constantly telling her to be careful and one night of careless drinking landed her pregnant with a Canterlot stallion`s foal. So, Trixie turned to one of the only friend she knew would keep a secret, Maud. Maud was hesitant at first. She wasnt really looking to have kids but she agreed to watch after Permafrost till Trixie would be able to find her a family. While Maud was taking care of Permafrost, she quickly fell in love with the powder blue filly and Cheese was even more in love with her. Cheese had been wanting a child of his own and he wasnt going to push Maud into anything. Luckily, it only took Permafrost to make Maud fall in love with children. So, they kept Permafrost and she loved her parents. Peggy, as Cheese calls her, wears a diamond cap on the tip of her horn due to an accident when she was a filly. She was helping Maud in a distant mine from their home when there was a sudden cave in. Peggy used her magic to protect Maud and herself, but when youre that young using too much magic, it cause her horn to shatter. It grew back some as she got older, but the diamond tip makes it complete and allow her to focus her magic. As an adult, Peggy makes a living selling hand-crafted jewelry from the gems out of her family`s mine. She often receives commissions for her pieces and travels selling her jewelry across Equestria.
