I don't know why, but since her introduction, I've constantly pictured Flurry Heart developing a backstory similar to Lucina from Fire Emblem Awakening; everything goes wrong for Equestria and she travels to the past in an attempt to fix what went wrong while trying to keep her distance from her family. I can even see Shining Armor as a fitting role for Chrom! (Whose role Cadance would fill would depend on who you ask). It helps that fanart like >>1108011 and >>1075855 added to the inspiration. I'm even consider writing an MLP fanfic based on the aforementioned game.
