Mandarin was always a quite pony, and she prefers the company of her sibling rather than friends. Her talent she discovered from a young age- Jam making. It took her not long after to receive her Cutie Mark, and she began working with her grandmother Granny Smith to create all kinds of jams. After her Grandmother’s passing, she continued to make jams on her memory and even put up her own stall- “Green Smith Jams”. Her jam are a delicacy among many of Ponyville’s residents and she has been asked many times how she gets the jams to be so airy and delicious; She insists to keep the recipe secret, and plans to pass it on to her children one day as well.
