It's not a phase, mom!

Meet Petunia, the middle daughter of Roseluck and Lilly Valley! Even as a foal, Petunia was seen as odd and very interested in the darker things in life. And what surprised ponies more than anything was the dark colors of her cutie mark, which show up on her flank like a dark tattoo, compared to her bright and cheerful flower pony family. She is an introvert in every way, preferring her own company or the company of her plants to socializing with groups of ponies. Petunia's talent focuses on gardening, just like her mothers, but rather with flora that is considered deadly if used improperly. She tends to work with dark flowers and medicinal plants that could be dangerous if used improperly, like mandrake, henbane, hemlock, and deadly nightshade. And if she gives someone herbs with specific instructions and they later come complaining of some issue or another, Petunia has no problem being blunt and telling them exactly what they did wrong. She is mentored by Zecora, who seems to have an endless knowledge of deadly plants, and has learned a great deal since she started visiting her in the Everfree Forest. Besides plants, Petunia is obsessed with keeping up her goth look, painting her hooves constantly to make sure there are no chips or smudges and darkening her hair with dye. She loves her piercings and is currently designing a tattoo with a friend and hopes to get inked soon, much to her mothers' silent horror.
