“Thanks, girls, but that won’t be necessary.” Sunset Shimmer chuckled a bit to herself, “sorry. I meant mares… I was very close to Twilight, and I’m happy to help in any way possible that can make it so she didn’t die in vain. Cherry Bomb is here to help, too!”
The former captain nodded.
“Twilight Sparkle saved my best friend. When he..” Hope’s coat darkened before she quickly lit up again- “left, Twilight was one of my only friends still around to help me. Why, if it wasn’t for her, I’d never have met my husband. Isn’t that right, Cyllie?”
“I… guess? I didn’t really know her but from what I’ve heard, she’s great.”
Djinn and the others stood for a moment, taking in all the information that had just been dumped on them. “Excuse us.” And they quickly huddled in the corner:
“Did they really just present their daughters as basically their helpers so they don’t have to do anything?” Aes said.
“I don’t think it was on purpose.” Wheatie replied.
“So am I right to assume that we all think Cherry and Cyllie are going to be helpful?” (I haven’t named the LunaMac kid yet, so I’m still referring to her as UNNAMED) UNNAMED added.
“I hope so.” Djinn broke apart the circle. “Thank you, princesses. Princess, Captain, welcome to the team.” Also, I didn’t notice there are different horns on these ponies until now. Oops.
