I wish this letter finds you well. Sorry for the slow response, but the Glorious Dawn had been in almost constant alert and combat situation these days.

This stupid operation had all gone to hell. So many losses and sacrifice with nothing to show for at all… And some actions I have seen our side committed repulses me. Those targets were not all raiders and bandits like the Enclave news proclaimed you know. I really wish to have a word with my senator once this damn operation is done with.

Regarding your concern about my personal safety, I had asked father to do me a favour and transferred me from piloting raptors to the Glorious Dawn Communication centre. There is not much action here at all, but computer screens and radios.

I know you do not want me to speak with him anymore after he branded brother, but he does not have a choice you know. He was asked to show loyalty as a ranking officer of the enclave, if he refuses, we could all be branded as dashites and exiled forever…

Sorry for bringing up this mess again, it’s just we both serve on the same combat platform now and we finally had some time together to talk it through, I really wish we could have a family meeting again after this. Hopefully, we can be together again, and father does not have to live in the barrack alone any longer.

Regarding your request for a photograph, technically we are not supposed to take personal photos as the Glorious Dawn is enclave property and military. But I burrowed an old torch from Fancy lad and took a quick photo at the maintenance shaft.
