'The Ritual of Seasons' sounds like a very interesting book, read that one!

Moonflower: "That was a fun story!"

You ask Moonflower if she wants to read another.

Moonflower: "Yuh uh!"

You go to put the book where you found it, and look around for a new book to read. The Ritual of Seasons catches your eye, and you bring it back to Moonflower.

After getting comfortable, you begin to read together again. The book reads:

"Atop the tallest mountain of them all, the earth pony singed her woe. For only wind answered her call, upon the horizon of snow.

Sunless day and moonless night sky, chill her sole company. To the mist she wailed a cry, alone for a felt eternity.

Til from the heaveneth came a friend, a pegasus beautiful and kind. His heartache he came to end, a fate they shared he would find.

So they held each other til dayspring, a warm flame within their heart. Ere long they were past courting, and each would play their part.

And with the wind of his wingeth, snow melted and cloudeth flew. And with the seed of her hooveth, food planted and woodeth grew.

Though in the sky the pegasus did belong, his friend's love he would always yearn. And so when the earth pony sang her song, spring would once again return…"

The clock on the wall indicates half past two.
