Let's read the book about horse shoes next.

You begin to read Blacksmith’s Hoofbook: Horseshoes. Most of the book consists of forging instructions and plans, most likely helpful to a farrier.

After skimming over a few pages, you come across a catalog of various horseshoe designs. The descriptions read:

"Travelling horseshoe — Standard design. A fair balance between weight and durability. Typically worn by ponies who travel long distances.

Racing horseshoe — Lighter, but more fragile. Typically worn by pegasi.

Work horseshoe — Heavier, and highly durable. Fully plated sole to protect the hoof. Typically worn for construction.

Combat horseshoe — Heavier, and highly durable. Half plated insole, designed to deal strong impacts in hoof-to-hoof combat.

Magic horseshoe — Lighter, but more fragile. Insulated insole, designed to hold enchantments.

Medical horseshoe — Corrective hoofwear."

The clock on the wall indicates a quarter to four.
