It's Sea Skimmer's first day on the job! (Credit to @pfeffaroo_art on twitter for the adorable name).

I've been wanting to make something in celebration of all the exciting news about MLP generation 5, so here we are! This free-standing piece is laser-etched in Baltic birch wood and features, probably for the first time ever, my own art. The pony was created in the same workspace where I prepare images for etching, so I was able to preview how the final results would look in real-time. It went surprisingly smoothly!
