You tell Moonflower that her bat pony senses would be useful here, and ask her to take the lead.

Moonflower: "Ya got it!"

Moonflower trots ahead, and begins to emit a series of high-pitched clicking noises. Her ears twitch for a moment, then she turns to you.

Moonflower: "The road's clear, but I hear somethin' big to the left. We should keep movin'!"

You continue to follow the road east. As you make your way deeper into the forest, the trees around you begin to grow more twisted.
