Ask how one would learn the uses of such a plant like that.
Moonflower uses her knife to gather a few samples, then you continue to wander deeper into the forest.
As you walk, you ask Moonflower how she learns the uses of new plants.
Moonflower: "Oh! Well, if I don't got identiflora, then first, I gotta make sure it's safe. When I find a new kinda plant, I cut it up into all the different parts, and put 'em in my bag for later.
The next day, I gotta skip breakfast, an' press each part against my foreleg to check for venom. It can take a few hours before somethin' happens, like with poison joke, so I usually wait 'til lunch to decide.
For each part that's not venomous, I gotta keep skippin' breakfast, an' try puttin' it on my lips, then on my tongue, then I gotta chew on it for a while, and finally I gotta swallow a tiny sample to check for poison.
If it's not poisonous, then I can try eatin' more the next day, and start mixin' it with other ingredients to study the effects! That can take a super long time, though."
