That grump seems like she needs a great big hug. Or a reminder that friendship and kindness is a two way street and while we can understand it probably sucks REAL bad to be locked up for several years in a damp cave ya could at least attempt to enjoy the prospect of freedom, a free (and DECENT) meal, and companionship; Especially since selling us the story that not all Sirens are bad goes better if you don't treat all ponies the same. Or a grope, that sometimes works in this story. (All three?)
You roll a 10 (required 9). Success!
You equip Star Hairpin.
After drying yourselves off, you retrace your steps back outside of the bathhouse, where the ocean breeze swirls by with renewed freshness. On the horizon, the golden sun slowly begins to dive behind oversea clouds, tinting the sky a cyan hue.
As you walk the cobblestone roads of the small port city, you listen to Moonflower recount your quest to Furia Storm.
Moonflower: "… and that's why we gotta find the Yggdrasil tree!"
Furia Storm: "Do you really think a couple of ponies can make a difference?"
You tell Furia Storm that some ponies have to be the ones following the path least travelled. You then wrap your hooves around her, and add that the journey doesn't have to be a lonely one.
Despite her scowl, the siren doesn't make any attempt to break the hug. She instead patiently waits until you pull back, then you resume your afternoon stroll.
Furia Storm: "(sigh)… Fine, I get it. Even I couldn't have made it this far on my own. So, thanks, or whatever."
Moonflower: "Heehee… ooh! Be right back!"
As you pass by a streetside blacksmith, Moonflower decides to go check about getting her new dagger restored. In the meantime, you tell Furia Storm that it's what friends are for. She hums a response, and casts a faraway glance to the distant sea.
