We should head straight to the island of Midgard (unless we're going to run out of supplies, in which case we should stop to resupply at Aviania). If we probably need to get to Yggdrasil to destroy the Philosopher's Stone, then we should aim to get there ASAP.
You all gather around your map of the ocean, and try to figure out the fastest way to reach the Yggdrasil tree from where you are. You estimate that if the map is to scale, and the wind in your favour, then you should be able to make it straight to Midgard before sundown.
Apple Basket: "That would leave us with a full day's worth o' supplies, too. An' even if we don't get more in that Midgard place, we'd still have more than enough food left to make it back to Aviania tomorrow."
Moonflower: "Ooh, sounds like a plan!"
With that decided, you make your way outside, and begin to raise the anchor. Then, once everypony is in position, you set sail in direction of the mysterious crescent island.
As the warm eastern wind carries you along calm seas, you leave behind the distant shores of the Undiscovered West, and enter uncharted waters. A few stray clouds follow from far above, while others circle around the flat skyline.
A few hours pass in comfortable silence, until suddenly, something large jumps out of the water in front of you! Loud battle cries immediately fill the morning air, catching you and your companions off-guard.
Sea dogs: "Yaaahahaaarr‼"
Before you have any time to react, three seadogs land heavily on the bow; a gray one with a cannon, a brown one with swords, and a ring-tailed one with what appears to be explosives. The pirates then brandish their weapons threateningly at your party from across the deck.
Gray seadog: "Avast! This ship is ours now!"
Ring-tailed seadog: "Surrender or sunder! Yeeheehee ha ha harr‼"
