Sounds like Basket knows how to catch a seadog's interest. (Lucky colt…) Let's leave the good captain to him and have them work out some trading deal he can present to his uncle when we get back, take stock of available goods and whatnot. Meanwhile, we can go look around for some of those merchants Scrap mentioned. Maybe they know more about our destination.

You put a foreleg around Apple Basket's shoulders, and suggest that he takes inventory of what the village has to trade. Such a document could prove valuable to somepony like his uncle.

Apple Basket: "Hayseed, you're right… it could! And if I don't come back empty-hoofed, then maybe my family will finally take my adventurin' more seriously! Uh, not to make this 'bout myself or anythin'."

You give Blank Scroll, Pot of Black Ink, and Quill Pen to Apple Basket.

Apple Basket: "Thanks, Trailblazer! I, uh, better get to work, then."

Scrap: "Aye. Snap, show that one around the stockpiles."

Snap: "Err… yes. Follow, this way."

Scrap: "As for you two, if you still need help crossing the sea, it looks like some early birds will be at the landing soon. Why not try your luck there?"

You follow Scrap's gaze to the northeast and, shielding your eyes from the sun, you are able to make out a speck in the distant sky. You tell the captain that you will, and after thanking her for having you, you head in direction of the northern islet.

You and Moonflower make it to the landing soon enough to witness the travelling merchants' arrival. Colourful sailed wings retract to the sides of the large aircraft, and as it smoothly docks nearby, a flock of harpies fly off from its deck to the village's main island.

The last one aboard, a pink-feathered avian, leisurely walks down the boarding ramp and onto the grassy field below. As she approaches, you greet her with the wave of a hoof, and responds with a glamorous smile.

Harpy: "Well, aren't you the cutest little things. Here to trade with the seadogs as well, I suppose?"

You tell the harpy that you are actually travellers, and that you are on your way to Midgard, but the waters have been more treacherous than you anticipated, so you had to stay here overnight.

Harpy: "I hear you, girl. I'm afraid I haven't heard of this Midgard place, though. You sure you aren't lost?"

You tell her that you've heard another harpy call it Crescent Island before.

Harpy: "Ah, Crescent Island. Now, that's quite a detour on the way home. Hmm, that your dinghy over there? You know, for the right price, we could tie it to our ship, and drop you off where you need to be. Of course, then you'd have to figure out how to make it back on your own, but that's as much as I can put on the table."

Tempted, you ask her how much that would cost.

Harpy: "Hm mh mmh. If you're interested, then think about what I'm offering you, and come up with something to offer in return that you think is worth as much."
