So Tiki and Kiburi are trotting through a sectioned off eating area. It’s lunch but people eat in assigned groups. Tiki is holding his tray with his wings but Kiburi has his tray on his back. Who remembers ‘saddle magic’? Special magic present in most equines backs that allow them to safely carry items. Anyway Tiki is realizing that they’re headed towards Last Rites, Lack Luster, and Deadweight. The stallions sit with the group and start eating the nonsense food.

“So you guys like, hang and shit?” Tiki suddenly speaks up.

“You seem surprised.” Luster isn’t looking at him; he is not worthy.

“I just thought, I don’t know what I thought. I didn’t think people socialized in places like this.” Tiki is very uncomfortable but when is he not.

“It’s pretty boring if you don’t, I’m sure you’ve noticed how stale this place is.” Luster scoffs.

“Yeah like whatever the hell it is we’re eating.” Tiki spits out the gross tater tot.

“It’s a cauliflower tot, they suck in general.” Last Rites is very good at eating gross food, cause all food is gross. And if she eats, they might release her.

“Tastes like shit.” Tiki is rude at her.

“Try the spinach!” Kiki is so positive. Tiki looks around his tray until he stops at a green gooey substance.

“Why is it gelatinous?!”

“Oh my god, just eat it’s like school lunch!” Rites is sick of his shit.

“I was homeschooled!” Tiki snaps back.

“Dude just eat, stop acting like you’re so above this! You’re a nobody addict like everyone else!” Rites might be right but she doesn’t have to be a bitch about it.

“Except no I’m not! What’s wrong with you? Ponies have smoked weed for centuries! I’m only here cause my mom is a bitch!” Tiki is yelling now, it's really awkward.

“Tiki stop escalating!” Kiki hisses in that way that’s supposed to be quiet.

“She started it!” Tiki shouts, wings gettin all poofy.

“HEY!” Now this stallion has a deep voice and probably takes his job too seriously is Tiki’s initial thoughts. He’s stomping towards Tiki and the small pegasus is suddenly regretting his choices.

“The hell is wrong with you?” The stallion says in a hushed growl.

“Nothing.” Tiki doesn’t meet his gaze.

“Why are you yelling?” Guy was all up in Tiki’s space.

“I’m not.” Tiki remembers he is small.

“So I’m imagining things? Is that what you’re saying?” Earthys are so angry.

“No.” Tiki could still taste the cauliflower tots.

“I don’t wanna hear another word from you, eat and be quiet.” The stallion turns and stalks off. It’s kinda quiet for a sec, then everyone goes back to eating.

“What an asshole.” Tiki mutters.

Rites loudly rolls her eyes and Luster shakes her head. Kiburi rubs his snout in frustration and Deadweight remains quiet.

“Tiki, if you feel like everyone you meet is an asshole, maybe you’re the problem.” Kiburi whispers. The other equus save Tiki mumble in agreement. The bunch finish eating and return to the day room. Tiki isn’t that dumb and notices things are weird.

“The hell did I do?” Tiki quietly asks Kiburi. Kiburi is not amused by the lack of responsibility being taken by the small orange pony.

“You’re an instigator, be nicer to people and stop arguing!” Kiburi whispers back.

“I’m sorry, I’m not usually like this! I just haven’t smoked in like a day or something idk time.” Tiki doesn’t realize that’s pathetic.

“You need pot to be nice?” Kiburi looks at Tiki in a very disapproving manner.

“Well it makes it easier.” Tiki shrugs as if that’s okay.

“You know maybe weed isn’t a hard drug, but if you depend on it to get through the day maybe you do have a problem.” Kiburi does not look at Tiki, he doesn’t deserve eye contact. Tiki feels bad.
