Now that we've met the new Mane 6, let's take a look back at Twi and Spike!

Princess Twilight Sparkle is the Ruler of Equestria and the Princess of Friendship. After the deaths of her brother, Shining Armor, and her sister-in-law, Princess Cadance, she became in charge of her toughest responsibility yet; raising the Crystal Empire's now-orphaned princess, her niece, Flurry Heart. Twilight rose to the occasion, but she became a bit overprotective of Flurry in fear that the villain that took Cadance's and Shining Armor's lives might return for her. She'll make her mistakes, but she always does what's right in the end and cares deeply for those that she loves. Even though Flurry and her don't always see eye-to-eye, they're very close and have a huge influence on each other. Flurry looks up to her as her inspiration, and Flurry is the light in Twilight's life.

Here's my redesign for Twi! I think Twilight looks great in the Last Problem, but she didn't really look like herself. I wanted her to seem like a regal Princess, but without losing the specific quirks that made her character.

I originally posted this like two seconds ago with Spike but I decided I want them separate 'cause I couldn't get them to measure up next to each other how i wanted. I'll post Spike again soon!
