Princess Mi Amore Cadenza

The once loving Empress of the Crystal Empire has been acting strange. Ever since Equestria fall from grace due to a worldwide pandemic she hasn’t acted the same. Her kingdom has turned into a mere military checkpoint, guards, scientists and those of importance (unicorns a handful of earth ponies and pegasi)

All the important Royal families have moved to this one area, those that are sick are old are immediately exiled into the the surrounding blizzard, all foals that are born have to go under extensive check ups before their parents can even hold them. So as you can imagine the area was strict, the princesses going as far as to bring up protective shields all over the Crystal Empire (mostly around the main castle).

Cadence herself knows how to put up a front, reassuring her people that this is all a phase and that sometime soon all will be back to normal. She herself couldn’t understand her shift in personality or her inability to connect to those around her anymore.

Was it the current pandemic? Or the weird conversations between her and Celestia? Or maybe her deteriorating marriage?

I finished all my finals (managed to pass with straight A’s in my courses so now I can enjoy drawing a bit more)
Hopefully I’ll get back into the swing of posting! (Also I didn’t add the other wing because I felt too lazy :’))
