First I thought I should do something super gothy, but then I remembered a lot of the people of the gothic persuasion I know are very much into historical garb. So instead of spiders and bats I went for a somewhat-gothic Victorian era dress with a bustle and a plumed hat, and the sculpted up-do. Although making a historical silhouette on a pony is a bit challenging, so it kinda reads as Edwardian… š
Anyways, Iām quite happy with it. It took me a long time to balance the colors, shades of purple with black easily read as heavy and lifeless. But I think the main shade of violet looks pretty, not too heavy, or too light and pastel-y. And yes, I did reuse the lace from the Wallflower pic. Sorry but not sorry, drawing lace on Gimp with a mouse is a PAIN.
