This piece This piece was made for the Equestria Daily New Artist Training Grounds, under the prompt, "Draw a pony alone in the dark / Draw a pony who's a real night owl." I had a LOT of ideas for this, but chose the less ambitious of them to finish in a timely manner. I really wanted to focus on practicing shading, and I had a bunch of ideas on how to do that, so I went with a bunch of them all at once. In the process I kind of screwed up the rest of the drawing, but I know I really need to focus on front on perspective for a bit to understand it better. Also, drawing more from life would help with shading, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
