Newbie Artist Training Ground Day 28 or 29: Draw a pony on the last leg of its journey.

OK, I had three ideas for today. One turned out to be too complex. The second would be at least 2-3 entries worth of pages to get the idea across the way I wanted. By then this was all there was time to draw.


So, as another one of these Training events comes close to an end I thought I'd use it as the journey. A lot of days it takes a lot to get through and produce something to post in less than a day and it can be a real challenge at times. This year and last I kept thinking what's shown here. Much as I want a break I feel bad that's it will soon be over. I always thought that was the best kind of journey though. A journey where while you want a conclusion, at the same time you kind of wished there were more, even if that weren't exactly practical.

This is also kind of a thank you to those that make these so fun, for this year and the last. Last year's was kind of like adding gas to a low fire for me for the rest of the year. Yeah, a lot of it wasn't pony stuff, but it did spur me on. This year's also feels like a great motivation boost as well. I really love to see the takes others have on so many of these prompts, the different art styles. Every year I learn a lot, and get a chance to find and follow new people.
