Reverse AU — reverse Soarin
+ This idea of creating an opposite alternate universe was inspired by the MLP comics issue #17 — 20. And the changes of the cutie mark came from MLP: Friendship Is Magic S8E13 "The Mean 6". +

though the idea came from the comic, the background is different from the original one




+ The characters in this universe basically have the opposite personalities and roles of the original characters+

some characters switch their position with the others, and some don't






"Why should I care about you? Shadowbolts look after themselves."




+ In this universe, Soarin is the leader of the Shadowbolts.

+ As a leader, of course, he has the leadership. But he's also a bit self-centred, he doesn't like being controlled or getting orders from other ponies/people. So sometimes he doesn't obey the command, and he asks Spitfire to do he works nearly all the time (8 out of 10 times).

-Spitfire is the secretary of the Shadowbolts in this universe.




+ He's indifferent in most of the time and to most of the thing, he doesn't care and do whatever he wants.

+ As the member and the leader of the Shadowbolts, things might not affect him too much; instead, they mostly aim for the whole team or Celestia and Luna. If the situation doesn't directly/personally affect him, then he doesn't care or sees it as not significant.




+ Reverse Soarin is the kind of pony/person who will be mean and sarcastic when he's mad. He also enjoys treating others high-handedly.

- With his boss or someone/somepony in a higher position, reverse Soarin usually puts on his "don't care" face.

- One thing that he does typically is uses others' weakness or secret to threaten or ridicules that pony/person. The other thing is that he's a calculating pony/person, so he usually induces others to do some silly things or fall into traps.

- If you are the pony/person who makes him mad, then he's going to pick on you until you apologise or surrender.

- Just like what I said before, he becomes mean and sarcastic when he's mad at you not for making others upset, so usually just saying things like "shut up" "go away" "you are annoying." etc.




+ As an adult, he knows what to do to hide his emotion in front of others. So his face usually says "don't care". When he smiles, mostly that's when he's treating others high-handedly or being sarcastic.




+ Smart and clever is one main reason that he was chosen to be the leader of the Shadowbolts.




+ Unlike the original Soarin, reverse Soarin hates pie, especially apple pie. He likes candy (especially lollipops), and his favourite flavour is strawberry & cream.




+ The original Soarin said that he has always had to work harder than anypony, but nearly everypony told him that he'd never be that good (My Little Pony: Friends Forever — issue #36). But reverse Soarin was born with the talent of flying and is naturally a good flyer.






One thing that I was really struggling about was what he likes in this universe since the only thing I know is that Soarin likes pie, especially apple pie, but there was nothing about what he hates. So I was considering making it the opposite of apple, but I think fruits don't have the opposite of it. After all, the final decision is literally just what I like.
