I was having immense trouble trying to draw the G5 characters last week, and I finally realized one of the main problems was that the hair from the G5 show style is close to what I try to emulate (which I'm afraid is going to make coloring it a nightmare). Among other things that I do a little similar.
And sometimes in order to get a handle on something, you just have to go straight to drawing the source.

I'm posting this as a proof to what this is eventually going to become.
